Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud landed a Bentley Bentayga on Wednesday in an NIL deal, but he’s not the only 2021 Buckeye football player who seems to be riding in style.
Former Ohio State quarterback Quinn Ewers, the highest-rated recruit to ever sign with the Buckeyes, is driving his own expensive luxury vehicle.
Texas sophomore receiver Xavier Worthy, a former Michigan recruit who changed his mind and went to Texas last year, posted on social media Wednesday that Ewers, who transferred to Texas this off season, was driving an Aston Martin.

Ewers has an NIL deal with a local Aston Martin dealership, and he is the second Longhorn to be part of such an arrangement. Bijan Robinson, star running back for Texas, signed an NIL deal with Lamborghini of Austin last month.
How much is an Aston Martin? Is it more expensive than C.J. Stroud’s car?
While it’s unclear what type of Aston Martin Ewers is driving, the sports car’s price varies by model, according to Aston Martin Palm Beach. Here are the prices of several new models:
- Aston Martin Vantage Price: $139,000*
- Aston Martin DBS Price: $316,300*
- Aston Martin DB11 Price: $205,600*
- Aston Martin DBX Price: $176,900*
- Aston Martin Valkyrie Price: $3,500,000*
Stroud was given a pre-owned Bentley Bentayga, which was valued at $150,000. A new Bentayga can cost more than $250,000.
Quinn Ewers has several NIL deals, including one with makers of Fortnite
Ewers graduated early from high school in 2021 and joined the Buckeyes in August. Part of that decision was made after Texas passed a law that banned NIL deals for high school athletes. Ewers opted to enroll early and had an NIL deal the day he arrived in Columbus.

The quarterback did not play for the Buckeyes in his freshman season. Meanwhile then-redshirt freshman quarterback Stroud was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2021. Ewers transferred following the season and landed at Texas, which lost its starting quarterback Casey Thompson in the transfer portal.
After he left, Thompson told several media outlets that the NIL money was better in Nebraska than Texas.
However, Ewers has landed several NIL deals in Austin, including one with Epic Games, which makes Fortnite.
