Mysteries are always fun, even when the grand revelation is simply free video games. Usually, Epic lets everyone know what’s on offer well ahead of time, not the past couple of weeks. It works for me since we’re getting nothing but bangers.
This week, BioShock: The Collection is free on the Epic Games Store until June 2, 2022, at 8:00 A.M. PDT // 11 A.M. EDT // 4 P.M. GMT. It’s a bundle, so you’re getting Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite in one sweet package. Download the bundle here. Don’t worry, there’ll be no ‘would you kindly’ jokes for me. This time, anyway.

Next week, Epic is giving away yet another mystery title. After writing these freebie giveaways for several months, I’m enjoying that brief serotonin rush from the unveiling. Probably because tossing out massive games like Borderlands 3 and Bioshock is more exciting than in-game currencies for free-to-play stuff.
The Epic Games Store Mega Sale 2022 is also in full swing. Brand-new titles like Ghostwire: Tokyo and Death Stranding Director’s Cut are seeing discounts, so many peruse the wares while that’s going on. After all, there’s no better way to escape that smothering summer heat than staying inside.
